Its NEVER OUR fault.

It just really make me laugh to see pple using lame remarks to pull themselves out of sticky situation. Never amaze me what the mgt can do back home in shitty times.

Criminal ran away and its the citizen fault but not mgt fault. LoL. We are not even interested in pinpointing who is to blame but rather focus on finding out what happen and how can we prevent it from happening again. So much for the "MultiMillion" talent we got for our mgt.

HAPPY CNY TO ALL

It’s Chinese New Year EVE today. Although I wanted to go back have reunion dinner with my family very much, but I am still in Perth slogging away in my office. For Chinese, it’s very traditional to spend the Chinese New Year together to celebrate and mark a new year. Paying respect to parents and visiting relatives for a hard earned gathering is always a must. 2-3 years is the duration that I miss out CNY celebration with my family. I must say that I feel out of touch from CNY gradually and now I totally lose the celebration feeling of CNY.

Emotionless? Heartless? Maybe… but I do not know the reason of why I felt this way too. Maybe being away too long from home makes me realised that the less I think of home, the less terrible I feel. I would like to use this opportunity to express my apology to my parents as this year I could not make it back again. However, I promise I will be back for CNY next year.

Finally I wish all a very joyful HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR~ May the year of rat brings health, wealth and everything you wish for to all of us~~!!!

New Toy of 2008

I finally made the painful decision to buy my PS3.

Factors contributing the decision:
1) I had been a PS fans all along, and owning PS3 is always my aim~!
2) One of my mates, Yvonne (Malaysian), is going Singapore for a holidays and by asking her to buy PS3 for me, I am eligible to claim back the tax as she is a foreigner.
3) Australia currency is a lot stronger now and its already a hugh discount buying from Singapore.

Inventory that I owned now:
1) 80 Ghz harddisk PS3
2) 2 Controllers
3) High D cables
4) 4 games, namely; Virtual Fighter 5, Uncharted drakes fortune, Assasin Creed, Fifa 08
5) Games that I will buy: Gundam Dynasty Warrior, GT5, FF, GTA, Devils May Cry, Resident Evil

I was watching through all the review of PS3 trailer last night, boy, the graphics was damn power! Even come across an advertisement (a nintendo WII advertisement) btw a bikini gal (Nintendo Wii representation) VS a fat gal (PS3), it was funny! Yesh, I agree WII is fun-er but only in a party environment. I still prefer my PS3. Now I am the proudful owner of a Nintendo WII and a Playstation 3!

CAN'T WAIT TO LAY MY HANDS ON MY PS3 on FEB 17!

GOODBYE Allan~

DUN WORRY, MY FRIEND IS NOT DEAD!

One of my best friend , Allan, departs Perth for Melbourne yesterday night. He ventures to Melbourne for a better future and to be with his gf. Filled with sadness, I wish him all the best and a smooth journey to reach greater heights.

Allan is my friend from Polytechnic days til now. I still remember the days where he allow me to copy his programs and homework in poly, the days I leverage from his extensive programming expertises and most of all, for introducing my wife to me. After Poly, we went ahead to our army but we still keep in close contact. I even know most of his family members. Two more good mates for life, Zhizhong and Wx, was introduced to me through him too.

After army, we decide to further our studies together. We came over to Perth and shared a room in Currie hall. You might not believe it, but it was one of the most fun periods of my life. Life away from family is hard but you made it easier with your forever surprisingly act to make us laugh. Most importantly, your forever drive to study, learn and do coding allows me to further leverage you!!!!WAHAHA Seems that I had been leeching from you academically all along~ lol

Although we had our differences and minor squabbles, we never fail to patch it up.
Even though you are at Melbourne now, but the friendship will forever exist. In times when you need me, feel free to call me!!

Looking Back 2007

Its a new year again~ Time flies by so fast.

Year 2007 Milestones:
1) Secure a better job.
I got this covered all right. However, I am not very happy at work and flying around so much is not really what I want. And the job prospect is very limited too. Sighz

2) Passing away of my Grandma
I was never really closed to my Grandmother. However I am very fortunate to be around her when she was in her last phase of her life. To me, humans live and die, its perfectly normal (am i being too heartless here) but my mum was affected deeply and my heart grieves with my mum. My wife and me was back in Singapore for a short holidays when it happen, so it was really a coincident (dunno nice or not also) but I am glad I am back for that period of time. Cousins all gathered around after so long really makes me missed the time when we play jia jia jiu in the playground below my grandma Ang Mo Kio house. Damn.. we grew up too fast.

3) Friends Wedding
As usual, I miss out my friends wedding. Gratz to Diana, you finally tied the knot! Me and Gary always thought you will be left on shelf due to your perspective of life. LoL I always miss the days when three of us are very close together (not close after you went chee hong and ignore us).
Gratz to Hadas, sorry that I cannot make it. I seriously want to go if I can get off but damnit. Clarizz I dunno you yet (never speak to you before) but take care of this PMS old man hadas yeah? LoL he is grumpy but he is quite nice~! hahaha (abuse him more for me)

4) Family
I am sad that I am unable to attend most of the family gathering as I am overseas working. I wish to use this opportunity to express my love to my family although I don't really know how to show my emotions. Parents getting old too, I hope my dad can retire early and enjoy life liaoz. As kid, I think we have enough finance power to support you liaoz.

For my wife, thanks for following through this 2007 year with me. I know I am a very difficult person to be with (always with a no emotion look on my face and dun like to chat much attitude) but hey, thats how I am! Always love you even though I seldom show it.

5) New addition to family
My niece will be out to this world around March 2008. Will be looking forward to it and I hope I will be back when she came to this world. Gratz Qiuling and Tommy ( my sis and bro-in-law).

6) Marriage next year 2008
Will be planning my Chinese wedding in year 2008 Oct. Due to my absence in Singapore, planning was a lot harder but will try my best.

7) Games
My wife got me a Nintendo Wii and I totally love it. However, that is more for the party gamers but I prefer selfish game set like PS3! Hope to get one set of PS3 in year 2008.

I had been playing WOW (World of Warcraft) for nearly 2 years now. I am proud to say that I am from MAKAN and knew a lot of great friends who will endure me for the rest of their life! Xavi, Hadas, CT, Curry, Aromir, Tinkky,WTM,Tako * 2 and all guildies in MAKAN, you guys are forever a part of my memories! Although I cannot meet you guys so often, but I always "attend" all your meetings!!! brr..... eerie?? lol Spiritually meeting! lol

Btw special thanks to WTM, Xavi and CT for running the guild. Sorry if I cause any major issue in the guild but my motto is "irritating pple is my forte!"
Gratz to CT on your first love, remember that take it easy but serious is the key to a good relationship!
Gratz to Takoyaki and Takopachi! Be loving always yeah?
Xavi, dun worry, fate will come and please stop pondering about the past, people see ahead of them and move forward!
Curry, got new job, concentrate on it. Jia you!

8) Friends
Been having some issue with friends for year 2007. As those who know me for a long time, I had a lot of friends in Singapore. When I am in Singapore, I had no trouble getting people to go out with me. However in Perth, I got very limited friends (I pick friends one hor, so all very high standard! lol be thankful). Raymond, John, Anqi , Vic, Bon, Alex, Kong, Ian, Allan, Michael, Jennifer, Benny and Jac ; Thanks for accompanying me in Perth and enduring all my bullshit. We all have our own difference and sometimes we might quarrel but HEY , quarrel is part of the bundle in building a relationship!

To my friends in Singapore, Mindy, Zhizhong, Wx, Alex, Pingliang, Zhiwei, Weiming, Steven, Gary, Munpeng, Diana, Xueli, Lys, Qiang, Stephanie, Waihoa, Li ren, Kit, Darren, even though I seldom contact you guys, but you guys are always in my heart. Blame my dad for giving me a emotionless face anda bo chap attitude! ahahaha but I love you guys!

Finally:
Year 2008 will be exciting and challenging, lets all clear all the hurdles and meet up when I am back in Singapore. I miss you guys... (shredding a tear or two now) LoL

Material World

Are we living in a Materialistic world?
Sometimes I wonder whether isit the society who forces us to become the ugly human we are or we ourselves are blinded by our desires and greed. Quoting myself as an example, I leave my homeland (away from my parents and friends) to seek for a better future. Yesh, I am getting higher pay and a better quality style of life right now but am I not persuing the Materialistic factor in life by doing so? Leaving my family and friends is always a very tough choice for me and my wife and sometimes I do wonder whether it is the right thing to do.
However, watching my friends slogging their life away back in my homeland and thus spending a lot less quality time with family and friends is also equivalent to my situations.
Whats the point of working so hard and spending so little quality time when I can work lesser and spend more quality time when I go back for a holidays. Delimma situations? I guess this is another which come first -chicken or egg type of question.

Being in Perth for 3-4 years really force me to grow up and learn to make tough choices. I got a good job currently however I wish to move on from the constant stress IT line. I guess I will take some extra course to enrich myself and of course , secure more promotions and higher pay (sighz.... how materialistic I am).

Sometimes I do wish just to strike some big lotto and return to homeland with no worries~ Dreams dreams Dreams again~~
